Sue Blankenship, R.N.


Sue has been a practicing RN for 30+ years in multiple areas and management levels of nursing services. She was certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Missouri – Columbia. Sue’s experience in behavioral health and pediatrics is quite extensive. She joined our team after serving five years as the Health Services Coordinator for Camdenton R-111 School District. During summer vacations from her school responsibilities, Sue sees patients in a private clinic practice with a local physician. She has served as clinic operations officer for a psychiatric hospital satellite clinic in Osage Beach and previously, owned and operated her own statewide nursing quality assurance company working with the Missouri Department of Health and Human Services to correct formal “Plans of Correction” issued to residential facilities throughout the state. Before moving to the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks, she resided in Columbia where she completed two years of service with Fulton State Psychiatric Hospital establishing policies and procedures for appropriate admissions to the hospital. Her nursing experience also includes service as Director of Nursing and Assistant Administrator for Skilled, Intermediate and Residential Care with Lenoir, Inc. in Columbia, Missouri. She has taught many certified nurse aide and medication technician courses throughout the years and accepts public speaking requests of her presentation, “Health Services Alive!” which focuses on empowering nurses and health administrators to expand programs of wellness.
