Rick joined Calo after a longstanding career as an EMT. Still wishing to help people, he decided to contribute to struggling teens’ lives by coaching as a direct care staff with Calo. For many years, he established structure and relationship in the Teen Boys safety team, The Chiefs. In early 2020, Rick had decided to step into the leadership role of a Shift Lead for the Aztecs Team Home, supporting staff and helping boys to heal their trauma.
