Nicole Pingel is a licensed professional counselor. She received her B.S. in Psychology at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and her Masters in Clinical Psychology at the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. Prior to joining Calo, Nicole gained experience working in residential care with teen and preteen boys who had experienced abuse and neglect in their histories. Nicole’s passion is helping the kids that she works with find meaning from their trauma and helping them to feel capable and free to be the best version of themselves. Beginning in late 2020, Nicole entered the role of Family Intensive Therapist for Calo, allowing her to support even more students in a very unique way. In her free time, Nicole enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her dogs. She also enjoys some good sports banter, being a Packers fan in “Chiefs territory” of Missouri!
