J.J. was born and raised in southern California. Attended a private Christian school from K-12. He moved to Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University with a History degree. In 2017, he moved to Lampe, Missouri to teach History at a Boys Ranch. In 2021, he joined the excellent team at Calo. J.J. enjoys anything history related, American politics, faith, philosophy, and intellectual debates. He enjoys good food, cooking, coffee, and good conversation. He has 3 amazing children that he will often be found with playing video games, board games or going on adventures. J.J. is passionate about people and restoring hope in a broken world.
